New Year's resolutions: metabolic eating

Now that we have left the old year behind, it is time to make plans for this year, so that it can be full of satisfaction and positivity. Having abandoned the extravagances of the holidays, January is the perfect month to start thinking about yourself, your health and your appearance. Let's therefore put a complete 'remise in shape' at the top of our list of New Year's resolutions, starting with ourselves, our will, to look our best, of course, but also to feel our best, rebalancing our metabolism and infusing us with new energy and vitality.

this is the aim of metabolic balance®, an easy and natural diet programme that helps people reach their ideal weight without the aid of drugs or hormones, but only through a correct diet, in a gentle and physiological manner. the programme comes from Germany, was devised by doctor Wolf Funfack, and aims to regain natural metabolic balance, thanks to the assimilation of carbohydrates with a reduced glycaemic index, capable of rebalancing insulin levels. The scientifically proven programme is simple and personalised with food adapted to each individual person, and allows you to rebalance your metabolism and thus also improve your quality of life while also reducing body weight .

Metabolic balance® is based on blood values and studies the food chemistry that best suits the patient's body chemistry, focusing exclusively on his or her personal physical condition. This type of diet plan has been found to have a positive effect on numerous conditions such as metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, digestive disorders, rheumatic pains, migraine, allergies, menopausal disorders, sleep disorders, diabetes and cholesterol, liver and biliary disorders, kidney and bladder disorders, allergies and skin imperfections, tiredness, listlessness and lack of vitality.

How does it work in practice?

It starts with an initial visit during which all information about the method is provided, blood tests are planned and the most appropriate time to start the course is defined. All the information is also collected, which, together with the blood values, will contribute to the formation of the diet plan. Once the results of the analyses are received, we start with the programme, which consists of 4 phases:

  • Preparation phase. Duration: 2 days. In this phase, the body prepares for the dietary change by purifying the instine through the intake of light foods.
  • Central restrictive phase. Duration: minimum 14 days. This phase involves a diet to be followed strictly. This is a particularly important phase during which it is essential to comply with all the indications of the diet plan. This starts the process of rebalancing the metabolism. The release of insulin will be brought to normal levels with positive consequences on numerous other processes in the body, a widespread sense of well-being and a reduction in body weight. at the end of the first two weeks, a significant increase in energy and a greater desire for physical activity can be observed, thus establishing a virtuous circle that results in a further acceleration of the metabolism.
  • Moderate phase. Duration: variable. In this phase it will be possible to include additional foodstuffs, the diet plan will become progressively less rigid, and then the last phase.
  • Maintenance phase. In this phase, the aim is to maintain the results obtained on a lasting basis. By this point, you will have arrived at a new awareness of your body's real needs and a greater criterion in the choice of food. It will then be easier to maintain the results achieved. For let us not forget that metabolic balance® is not a diet but a new lifestyle.
