Tell me what wrinkle you have and I will tell you how to get rid of it
From wrinkles you just can't escape! They can appear due to advancing age, but also due to tiredness and or facial expressions. Fortunately, there is a right solution for every type of wrinkle.
Let us see which external factors can favour the formation of wrinkles and thus also define their origin and type of treatment. To classify wrinkles, it is useful to start with the causes, i.e. the factors that facilitate the onset of wrinkles: expression, sleep, exposure to sunlight and ageing.
Expression w rinkles are caused by particular behaviour, i.e. the contraction of the facial mimic muscles. Those who tend to be particularly expressive and laugh a lot may see this type of wrinkle appear rather early. Think of horizontal wrinkles on the forehead, 'crow's feet' around the eyes or those around the mouth. In these cases one can resort to a few injections of botox, which prevents the neurotransmitter known as acetylcholine from giving the command for the facial muscles to contract.
Sleep folds are those that appear in the morning after sleeping with the face resting on the pillow and are caused by pressure. With the passage of time, i.e. after the age of 40, they begin to become more permanent and pronounced due to the loss of skin elasticity. A peeling with substances such as glycolic acid may be indicated for this type of wrinkle. This removes the surface layer of the skin and stimulates cell turnover in a natural way.
Wrinkles caused by the passage of time and thus byageing are tougher. They are often made worse by bad habits such as lack of hydration and poor nutrition. In these cases, the facial skin loses elasticity and collagen synthesis is reduced. These are deeper wrinkles, the result of loss of tissue volume, for which one can intervene withhyaluronic acid, which plumps the facial skin and acts by filling wrinkles from within. Or with anon-surgical facelift with wires, a technological innovation that allows aredefined appearance, increased volume and wrinkle reduction thanks to a minimally invasive outpatient treatment lasting only 30 minutes.
Finally, wrinkles caused by the sun, the so-called actinic wrinkles, are real furrows caused by the loss of elasticity caused on the skin by ultraviolet rays. We will never stop repeating it: we must pay close attention to sun exposure, the sun is the worst skin ageing agent and we are constantly exposed to it, even when we are not aware of it. Here the primary role is played by prevention, so it is absolutely necessary to protect the skin using appropriate sun filters. Again, these are deep wrinkles that can be treated with good results withhyaluronic acid or non-surgical lifting.
