The pre-holiday touch-up

The pre-holiday touch-up

Are you ready for the holidays? Leaving for a holiday is an important event to be prepared for with meticulous care in the weeks leading up to it. So study travel itineraries, book flights, hotels and travel, think about your suitcase, but also carve out some time to prepare yourself as best you can. Epilation, haircut and hair colour, pedicure and manicure and, why not, maybe even a last-minute beauty touch-up.

it is commonly believed that it is inadvisable to undergo cosmetic surgery and medicine in the summer. In reality, however, there are surgeries that can easily be done in the summer, even at the last minute, in order to be in tip-top shape for the holidays.

in fact, the demand for last-minute retouches before the holidays is on the increase everywhere in order to arrive in shape at your chosen destination. Of course, these are mostly quick makeovers that do not require hospitalisation or convalescence and are not afraid of the sun.

For the face, for example, hyaluronic acid is indicated, which eliminates the 'crow's feet' effect and gives the skin a pleasant, fresh and rested look thanks to its powerful moisturising action. In practice, it is as if a moisturiser were applied directly into the depths of the skin, all without pain or bruising. Hyaluronic acid can be very helpful in improving the décolleté, which is certainly much more exposed during the holidays and summer in general. All it takes is an outpatient procedure and just a few minutes.

Green light also goes to operations that leave no particular scars such asotoplasty, a small liposuction, a minilifting or a small mastopexy (breast lift).

Butolin toxin, chemical peelings andlaser treatments are not recommended for those about to expose themselves to the sun, nor are all operations that require convalescence and a surgical check-up.

And never, but really never, forget sun protection.
